Keep in a school of at least 6 individuals — Corydoras are social animals that feel most comfortable in a group. Choose a soft, non-sharp substrate such as sand to protect their delicate barbels. As a substrate spawner, this species lays its eggs on a flat surface such as glass or leaves.

Completely peaceful and excellent to combine with almost all other calm community fish, such as tetras, dwarf gouramis, and shrimp.
