✂️ Care

Keep in a school of at least 10 — the larger the group, the better inter-species aggression is distributed, so that not always the same fish gets all the attention. A well-planted aquarium with sufficient open swimming space brings out the best in this active species.

🐠 Combination Tip

Avoid fish with long fins or feelers, such as angelfish and gouramis — the Tiger Barb can nip at them, especially in too small a group. Combine with other active, not too timid community fish.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Which fish cannot be combined with this species?
Avoid fish with long fins or feelers, such as angelfish and gouramis — the Tiger Barb can nip at them.

How many specimens should I buy at minimum?
At least 10 for the best, most relaxed group behavior.
