Divide the pot into small clumps of 5–10 stems and plant 1–2 cm apart in fine sand or gravel. Plenty of light and CO₂ promote a compact, dense carpet. Regular trimming keeps the plant healthy and compact. Liquid fertilizer like Sera Florena supports healthy growth.
