✂️ Care
Gently rinse the culture gel under lukewarm water. Do not plant the rhizome too deep into the substrate. When transplanting or during water changes, 'crypt-melt' can occur — this is normal, and the plant almost always recovers within a few weeks.
💡 Planter's tip
The olive-green color beautifully contrasts with plain green or red-colored plants.
❓ Frequently asked questions
How do I prepare an In Vitro cup?
Remove the plant from the cup, rinse the culture gel under lukewarm water, and plant it in the substrate.
What is 'crypt-melt' and should I be concerned?
Crypt-melt is a natural reaction to change. The leaves yellow and die, but the rhizome remains alive, and the plant will grow back within a few weeks.
My plant arrived yellow or limp — is that normal?
Yes, In Vitro plants are grown emersed and will adapt. Give the plant 1–2 weeks. For persistent issues: please contact us.
Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
Yes — as an In Vitro plant, it is ideal for shrimp tanks, being completely free of pests.
