In addition, the preparation is extremely effective against other ciliates (single-celled cilia) such as the heart-shaped Chilodonella and the bean-shaped Ichthyobodo necator (formerly Costia necatrix), a flagellate, as well as against Trichodina etc. in ornamental fish in freshwater aquariums.

The preparation is characterized by a rapid therapeutic success and particularly good tolerability.

Manacil does not contain polymeric solvents.
Manacil is a colourless liquid and therefore does not discolour the water.
