Does not affect pH. Safe for fish, shrimp, and plants.

Use 1 level scoop (16g) per 80 liters to increase GH by 4 dH. Test water hardness before and after dosing. Add Equilibrium with each water change to maintain mineral balance. For planted aquariums, aim for a GH of 3–5 dH; for shrimp aquariums, 4–6 dH.

Combine Equilibrium with Seachem Acid Buffer for perfect water chemistry when using RO water — Equilibrium for the correct hardness, Acid Buffer for the desired pH.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Why no sodium in Equilibrium?
Sodium (salt) is harmful to freshwater plants and shrimp at higher concentrations. Equilibrium only provides the minerals plants and fish need without adding harmful salt.
Does Equilibrium affect pH?
No — Seachem Equilibrium increases GH and KH without affecting pH. Use Seachem Acid Buffer or Alkaline Buffer for pH adjustment.
Is Equilibrium safe for Caridina shrimp?
Yes — Equilibrium is especially suitable for shrimp aquariums. For Caridina shrimp (Crystal Red, Crystal Black), aim for a GH of 4–6 dH.
