Concentrated iron supplement for aquarium plants — readily absorbable Fe²⁺
Seachem Flourish Iron — ideal for iron deficiency and red plants
✅ Level: Easy — Dose on non-Flourish days. No special equipment needed.
Seachem Flourish Iron is a highly concentrated iron supplement specifically for aquarium plants. Iron is essential for photosynthesis and chlorophyll formation — a deficiency leads to yellow leaves and weak growth. The formula contains iron in a readily absorbable form (Fe²⁺) for rapid uptake by plants. Intensifies green and red leaf colors. Safe for fish and shrimp.

✂️ Usage tips
Dose 5 ml per 200 liters on days when you do not dose Flourish. Regularly test the iron content — the ideal value is between 0.1–0.5 mg/l. Combine with Seachem Flourish for a complete plant nutrition with all micro-elements.
💡 Tip
Particularly effective for red plants such as Rotala and Ludwigia — red colors in aquarium plants are highly dependent on sufficient iron. Flourish Iron provides the iron boost red plants need for intense colors.
❓ Frequently asked questions
What is the difference with Seachem Flourish?
Flourish provides all micro-elements and trace elements. Flourish Iron exclusively provides iron in a higher concentration — ideal as a supplement for iron deficiency or for plants with high iron requirements.
How do I know if my plants have an iron deficiency?
Yellow or pale leaves (chlorosis) are a clear sign of iron deficiency. Test the iron level and start with Flourish Iron if the value is below 0.1 mg/l.
Is Flourish Iron safe for shrimp?
Yes — Seachem Flourish Iron is safe for all aquarium inhabitants, including shrimp and snails.
