✂️ Usage tips
Clean the filter sponge monthly with aquarium water (never with tap water — this damages beneficial filter bacteria). Never perform filter cleaning and partial water changes at the same time to protect the bacterial population. Adjust the outflow for optimal water circulation.
💡 Tip
Always choose a filter with slightly more capacity than strictly necessary — a filter that doesn't have to run at full power is quieter and lasts longer.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Which model do I choose?
Choose based on your aquarium's volume: FilterJet 400 for up to 120L, FilterJet 600 for up to 170L, and FilterJet 900 for up to 230L.
How do I clean the filter sponge?
Remove the sponge and rinse with aquarium water from the aquarium. Never use tap water — chlorine kills beneficial filter bacteria.
