The unique hollow structure ensures even water flow in different directions through the filter medium. The large internal surface provides an ideal colonization site for beneficial nitrifying bacteria. Suitable for all external filters including the Tetra EX series.

Rinse the Filterrings monthly with aquarium water — never with tap water. Ceramic filter rings are very durable and rarely need to be replaced. Never replace all filter materials at once.
