Aponogeton Crispus is naturally a tuberous plant from Sri Lanka, now cultivated and supplied without a tuber to protect nature. With its red-green, slightly wavy leaves up to 60 cm long, it is a striking background plant for larger aquariums.

Carefully plant the roots into the substrate. Aponogeton Crispus is tolerant of varying water parameters and thrives in normal to high light conditions. CO₂ is not required. Liquid fertilizer such as Sera Florena supports healthy growth and beautiful leaf coloration. Like other Aponogeton species, the plant may periodically enter a resting phase where growth ceases – this is normal.
