Betta Halfmoon Male
⚠️ Level: Medium — must be kept solitary.
The Betta Halfmoon Male gets its name from its fan-shaped caudal fin which, when fully unfurled, forms a 180° semicircle. Please note: males are territorial and aggressive towards conspecifics and should never be kept with another male or a female in the same aquarium — the female will not survive this.

✂️ Care
Always keep solitary, in an aquarium with plenty of plants and low current — 30 to 50 liters is more than enough for one male. The Betta primarily stays in the upper water layer of the aquarium.
🐠 Combination tip
Never put two Bettas (males with each other, or male and female) together in the same aquarium — this leads to injuries or worse. Best kept alone, possibly with very peaceful bottom dwellers at a distance.
