The Betta Splendens Crowntail Dragon Man is a Siamese Fighting Fish with pointed, crown-shaped fins and a metallic, "dragon scale"-like scale pattern. Male Bettas are territorial and aggressive towards conspecifics and other fish, and should therefore always be kept alone.

Always keep a male alone; an aquarium of 30 to 50 liters is more than sufficient. Provide plenty of plants and low current — the Betta primarily inhabits the upper water layer. Never house a male and female together, as the female will not survive.
