Potassium fertilizer for aquarium plants — prevents potassium deficiency and leaf holes

HS Aqua Flora Scape Potassium K — ideal for scape aquariums and LED lighting

Level: Easy — Dose based on water values. No special equipment needed.

HS Aqua Flora Scape Potassium K is a targeted potassium fertilizer for aquarium plants in freshwater aquariums. Potassium is an essential macronutrient — a deficiency manifests as small holes with black or yellow edges in the leaves that later grow into large holes, and reduced plant growth. The optimal potassium value in an aquarium is between 5 and 10 mg/l. Safe for shrimp and ornamental snails.

✂️ Usage tips

Dose based on the desired potassium value — 10 ml per 100 liters increases the potassium content by approx. 0.5 mg/l. Measure the potassium value before and after dosing for accurate control. Combine with HS Aqua Flora Scape All-In-One for complete macro and micro-nutrition in scape aquariums.

💡 Tip

Small holes with black or yellow edges in the leaves are a clear sign of potassium deficiency — start with Potassium K immediately and monitor plant recovery.

❓ Frequently asked questions

How do I recognize potassium deficiency?
Small holes with black or yellow edges in the leaves that later grow into large holes are the characteristic symptom of potassium deficiency. Reduced plant growth can also be a sign.

Is Potassium K safe for shrimp?
Yes — HS Aqua Flora Scape Potassium K is safe for shrimp and ornamental snails when dosed correctly.

Do I need Potassium K if I already use All-In-One?
In heavily planted aquariums with high light intensity, potassium can quickly be depleted despite All-In-One. Potassium K is the perfect targeted supplement for potassium deficiency.
