The Angelfish Mix (Pterophyllum Scalare) is a surprising mix of color variants of the classic angelfish. Calm and graceful in movement, but a species that needs a large, tall aquarium and the right planting.

✂️ Care

Keep in a group of at least 5 to 6 individuals, in an aquarium at least 120 cm long and 60 cm high. Provide plenty of planting, preferably Vallisneria or larger Echinodorus species — these leaves are used for cleaning and laying eggs, and also dim the light (Angelfish do not like overly bright light). When a pair forms, they keep other fish at a distance to protect their clutch or young.

🐠 Combination tip

Peaceful by nature, but a pair can exhibit territorial behavior around the breeding area. Combine with other calm, not-too-small community fish.
