✂️ Usage tips

Choose the pump capacity based on the volume of your pond: the pump should circulate the entire pond volume at least once per hour. For a filter pump, calculate with 1.5–2 times the pond volume per hour.

💡 Tip

Clean the pump and filter regularly (every 4–6 weeks) for optimal performance and a longer lifespan. Remove the pump from the pond in winter if it freezes.

What capacity do I need for my pond?
Calculate the volume of your pond in litres and choose a pump that can handle at least that volume per hour. For a 2000-litre pond, choose at least the 2000 l/h variant.

Can I also use this pump as a fountain pump?
Yes — the Pond Flow Eco is multi-functional and can be used as a fountain pump, filter pump, stream pump, or for water features.

Do I need to turn off the pump in winter?
In case of frost, we recommend removing the pump from the pond to prevent freezing and damage. In mild winters, the pump can continue to run.
