✂️ Care

Gently rinse off the growing gel under lukewarm water. Plant in nutrient-rich substrate in the foreground. Plenty of light is essential — ensure the plant is not overshadowed. Substrate fertilizer greatly stimulates growth. The plant grows slowly but eventually forms a dense carpet via runners.

💡 Planter's tip

Add substrate fertilizer tablets and ensure maximum lighting — then the Parva will grow fastest. The smallest Cryptocoryne, ideal for nano aquariums.

❓ Frequently asked questions

What is 'crypt-melt'?
Crypt-melt is a natural reaction to change. The leaves yellow and die, but the rhizome remains alive and the plant regrows within a few weeks.

Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
Yes — especially as In Vitro, it's ideal for shrimp tanks, completely free of pests.
