✂️ Care
Echinodorus Horemanii Green primarily absorbs nutrients through its roots — therefore, plant it in a nutrient-rich substrate and use root tabs or liquid plant food such as Sera Florenette or Sera Florena for vigorous growth. Before planting, trim the roots to 3–4 cm; this stimulates new root growth and ensures better anchoring. Give the plant at least 20–25 cm of space around it, so the long leaves can fully unfurl. Due to its size, this plant is best suited for aquariums of 80 liters or more.
💡 Planter's tip
Combine Echinodorus Horemanii Green with the red variant for a dramatic color contrast, or plant together with Vallisneria Spiralis, Cryptocoryne Wendtii, or Anubias Barteri on wood for a layered, natural aquascape. Also a strong choice for aquariums with larger fish such as cichlids or discus.
