⚠️ Difficulty: Medium — Hygrophila Pinnatifida requires moderate to strong light and CO₂ for the most beautiful cognac-red colors.

Hygrophila Pinnatifida is one of the most unique aquarium plants — with its fern-like lobed leaves that turn cognac to reddish-brown underwater, it is a real eye-catcher. Originating from India, its adhesive roots allow the plant to be attached to wood or stone — or planted in the foreground or midground. The In Vitro version is 100% sterile grown — ideal for shrimp tanks and sensitive aquariums.

✂️ Care

Gently rinse the cultivation gel under lukewarm water. Attach to driftwood or stone with fishing line or aquarium glue — the plant will attach itself over time. Or plant in the foreground or midground. CO₂ and iron fertilization promote the most beautiful cognac-red colors. Liquid nutrients like Sera Florena support healthy growth.

💡 Planter's Tip

Tie to driftwood for a spectacular natural effect. The plant will attach itself over time — the fishing line can then be removed.
