Lobelia Cardinalis Mini is the small variant of the popular Lobelia Cardinalis — perfect for nano aquariums and the foreground of smaller aquariums. The leaves are dark green on the top and purple on the bottom, creating a beautiful color contrast. The plant grows to a maximum height of 10–15 cm and can also be used as a carpet in larger aquariums.

Plant the stems in the foreground. A lot of light is essential for the most beautiful purple leaf color and compact growth. Prune regularly — cut tops can be replanted for a fuller result. Liquid fertilization such as Sera Florena supports healthy growth.

The purple underside of the leaf is best showcased with strong overhead lighting. Combines beautifully with light green plants for maximum color contrast.
