✂️ Care
H'ra achieves its best color with high light intensity and stable CO₂ supplementation. With less light, the plant remains greener. Prune regularly to keep the plant compact and branched. The narrow leaves provide a unique airy texture that combines well with wider-leaved plants.
💡 Planter's Tip
Combine H'ra with wider-leaved plants such as Cryptocoryne or Anubias for an exciting textural contrast. Also beautiful next to Rotala sp. 'Green' for a play of color and form in the background.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between H'ra and regular Rotala Rotundifolia?
H'ra has narrower, more needle-like leaves and a more pronounced orange-red color under good light. It is slightly more demanding but offers a more unique appearance than the standard Rotundifolia.
Can I keep it without CO₂?
It is possible, but the color and compactness will be significantly less. For best results, CO₂ is highly recommended.
My plant arrived yellow or limp — is that normal?
Yes, this is transport stress and almost always temporary. Give the plant 1–2 weeks to acclimate. For persistent problems: contact us.
Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
Yes, completely shrimp-friendly.
