✂️ Care

Plant Vallisneria Gigantea with the crown just above the substrate in sand or gravel. The plant requires very high light for optimal growth. Always trim overly long leaves at the base, never halfway. Liquid fertilizer like Sera Florena supports healthy growth. Note: sensitive to glutaraldehyde (Excel). Suitable for larger aquariums due to its imposing size.

💡 Planter's tip

Plant in groups of 3–5 for a lush curtain effect in the background. The broad leaves provide a dramatic, imposing appearance — ideal as an anchor point in the background of large aquariums.

My leaves turn brown after trimming — what am I doing wrong?
