Plant Vallisneria Spiralis Red with the crown just above the substrate in sand or fine gravel. Plenty of light is essential for the red leaf color — with insufficient light, the color will fade to green. Always cut overly long leaves at the base. Liquid fertilizer such as Sera Florena supports healthy growth and color intensity. Note: sensitive to glutaraldehyde (Excel).
