L066 - Hypancistrus sp.

The L066 was found in the lower part of the Xingu River.
They mainly eat bloodworms, mussels but will also accept dry food that sinks to the bottom, such as carnivore tablets and artemia pellets.

Don't forget that they like to have a hole to hide in.

They can be kept well with smaller tetras and Corydoras species.
However, care must be taken to ensure that they have enough to eat, as the L066 can sometimes be a bit shy and therefore do not have enough opportunity to get to the food on time.

They can be kept alone, but when there are several of their own kind they can show territorial behaviour.
The L066 needs current in the water and likes a high oxygen content.
