How does it work?

Seachem Prime uses a unique formula that instantly neutralizes chlorine and chloramine. It also binds ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate in a non-toxic form for 24-48 hours. This gives your biological filter time to metabolize these compounds without endangering your fish. Prime doesn't remove these compounds, but it temporarily neutralizes them.

Usage

Standard dosage: 5 ml per 200 liters of aquarium water during water changes. Add Prime to the new water before adding it to your aquarium.

For ammonia spikes: Use up to 5x the normal dose (5 ml per 40 liters) to prevent acute poisoning. Repeat after 24-48 hours if necessary.

Tip for small aquariums: 1 drop of Prime treats approximately 4 liters of water - ideal for nano aquariums and shrimp tanks.

Note: Prime may temporarily affect ammonia test results. Retest after 24-48 hours for accurate readings.
