✂️ Care

Gently rinse off the culture gel under lukewarm water. Do not plant the rhizome too deeply into the substrate. 'Crypt-melt' may occur during replanting or water changes — this is normal, and the plant almost always recovers within a few weeks.

💡 Planter's Tip

Plant in groups for a full, natural effect in the foreground or midground.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What is 'crypt-melt' and should I be concerned?
Crypt-melt is a natural reaction to change. The leaves yellow and die off, but the rhizome remains alive, and the plant regrows within a few weeks.

How do I prepare an In Vitro cup?
Remove the plant from the cup, rinse the culture gel under lukewarm water, and plant in the substrate.

My plant arrived yellow or limp — is that normal?
Yes, In Vitro plants are grown emersed and adapt. Give the plant 1–2 weeks. For persistent issues, please contact us.

Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
Yes — especially as In Vitro, it is ideal for shrimp tanks, completely free of pests.
