Cryptocoryne Willisii is low-maintenance and suitable for the foreground of almost any aquarium. Do not plant the rhizome too deep in the substrate. 'Crypt-melt' can occur when replanting or during water changes — this is normal, and the plant almost always recovers within a few weeks.

❓ Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Cryptocoryne Parva or Lucens?
These three species are often confused because they are similar in size and appearance. Willisii is generally slightly less demanding than Parva.
What is 'crypt-melt' and should I be concerned?
Crypt-melt is a natural reaction to change. The leaves yellow and die off, but the rhizome remains alive, and the plant will grow back within a few weeks.
My plant arrived yellow or limp — is that normal?
Yes, this is transport stress and almost always temporary. Give the plant 1–2 weeks to acclimatize. If problems persist, please contact us.
Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
