✂️ Care

Provide sufficient hiding places such as tubes, pots, or dense planting — especially important when keeping multiple together, to reduce aggression among them. Feed alternately with algae wafers, vegetables, and protein-rich food. Shedding of the exoskeleton (molting) is normal behavior during growth.

🐠 Combination tip

Be careful when combining with small fish species or shrimp, which may be seen as prey. Best combined with fish that do not scavenge the bottom.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Can I keep multiple crayfish together?
Yes, but provide sufficient hiding places to reduce aggression among them. Alone or as a pair is always possible.

Is this crayfish dangerous to my fish?
It may see small fish or shrimp as prey. Therefore, it's better to combine it with fish that do not scavenge the bottom.

Why is there an empty 'shell' in my aquarium?
This is the discarded exoskeleton after molting — a normal part of the crayfish's growth.
