⚠️ Level: Medium — Utricularia Graminifolia needs a lot of light and soft water to carpet well. CO₂ is recommended.
Utricularia Graminifolia is one of the most remarkable aquarium plants — a carnivorous plant that forms small traps with which it catches very small aquatic organisms. The plant resembles Riccia, but grows with a looser structure and, under the right conditions, forms a fine, airy carpet in the foreground.

✂️ Care
Plant small clumps spread out in a nutrient-rich substrate. Plenty of light and soft water (low KH) are important for a dense carpet to form. CO₂ supplementation significantly accelerates carpeting.
💡 Planter's tip
One of the few carnivorous aquarium plants — a real conversation starter, and completely safe for fish and shrimp.
