Echinodorus Oriental is similar in appearance to Echinodorus Argentinensis and Echinodorus Radicans, but is much more compact. This makes it suitable for smaller aquariums where larger sword plants would take up too much space.

Low maintenance and suitable for smaller aquariums thanks to its compact size. Do not plant the rhizome too deep in the substrate. Remove old leaves at the base to make room for new growth.

What is the difference with Argentinensis or Radicans?
Oriental is similar in appearance to these species, but remains much more compact, which makes it suitable for smaller aquariums.
My plant arrived yellow or wilted — is that normal?
Yes, this is transport stress and almost always temporary. Give the plant 1–2 weeks to acclimatize. If problems persist: contact us.
Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
