The Moerings test set is suitable for measuring the pH, GH and KH value of pond and aquarium water in a very accurate manner. The test bottle can be used to collect the water, making it easy to have the water tested. With this drop test it is possible to determine precisely what needs to be corrected/advised to bring the pond water back into optimum condition.
Instructions for use pH
1. Rinse the test bottle several times with the
water sample and fill it with 5 ml of pond water.
2. Add five drops of PH test and mix the water
by shaking gently.
3. Place the test bottle on the color chart and point to the
value by comparing it to the color.
4. Rinse the test bottle thoroughly after use.
Instructions for use GH
1. Rinse the test bottle several times with the
water sample and fill it with 5 ml of pond water.
2. Hold the dropper bottle vertically and add the
drop by drop while gently shaking the test bottle
shake until the color changes from red to green.
Count the number of drops, one drop equals
with one degree of total hardness.
3. Rinse the test bottle thoroughly after use.

with one degree of carbonate hardness.
3. Rinse the test bottle thoroughly after use.
The ideal water values for your pond are:
pH 7, if deviating, correct with Moerings Pond

KH 8, if too low enrich with Moerings KH Plus
