Stability and safety
The carbonate hardness (KH) is one of the most important water values in the aquarium.
A large proportion of the fish species kept in a freshwater aquarium prefer relatively hard water.
In addition, the KH acts as a buffer, which prevents dangerous fluctuations in the pH value (including acidity drop).
The rule for all community aquariums is therefore to maintain a KH of at least 6 °dKH (significantly higher for special cases, such as African cichlids).
This ensures the well-being of the fish and makes the aquarium water particularly resilient and easy to maintain.
sera KH/pH-plus increases the KH precisely and permanently to the desired value.
The pH value is gently increased and, above all, safely stabilized.

Recommended dosage
5 ml sera KH/pH-plus increases the carbonate hardness of 30 l of water by 1 °dKH.
We recommend increasing the KH value in the aquarium by a maximum of 2 °dKH per day.
Check the pH/KH value with the sera pH-Test or sera kH-Test 30 minutes before and after administration.
