Nematodes such as the milling head worm ( Camallanus sp.), the hair worm ( Capillaria sp.) and the discus maggot worm ( Oxyuris sp.) can be a serious, often long unrecognized problem, especially in freshwater aquariums. Cichlids are very often affected by them.

Invertebrates such as shrimp and crayfish do not tolerate the product.
