Fast and effective against nitrite (No2)

During the running-in phase of a new aquarium, after treatment with medication or changing the filter, there is a risk of a build-up of nitrite ("nitrite peak"), because there are fewer filter bacteria present to break down the toxic nitrite into the plant nutrient nitrate.
A nitrite value of as little as 1.0 mg/l can be harmful to fish.
sera Nitrite-minus performs quickly under acute stress and immediately removes up to 1.5 mg/l nitrite per dosage.
The nitrite is converted into organic amines, which are processed by the filter bacteria.
sera Nitrite-minus is very well tolerated by ornamental fish, invertebrates and plants and can be dosed up to 5 times.
