Powerful and energy-efficient corner filter for aquariums up to 100/200 or 300 liters

sera X-Edge 300, 450 and 700 are modern corner filters that are particularly powerful, run quietly and can be visually integrated into the aquarium very well thanks to advanced technology. The mechanical filtration is performed via a filter fleece and a filter sponge that effectively pre-filter dirt particles. This way, they protect the biological filter media from contamination and increase the biological effectiveness of the corner filter. The filter basket is already filled with the biological top performance filter medium sera siporax mini Professional – for reliable biological filtration.

The water flow through the sera X-Edge corner filter is infinitely adjustable and can also be variably set in direction with the included spray rod. Alternatively, the duckbill nozzle offers the possibility to create a gentle flow. This nozzle can also be used to increase the oxygen supply: Air can be drawn in through the injector with the included Air-Set, which is then mixed with the water and transported into the aquarium.

Of course – as with all sera filters – the safety aspect was also considered when designing the sera X-Edge corner filter. Corner filters can be dangerous for fish and shrimps. Therefore, two areas must be considered. On the one hand, fish occasionally swim behind the corner filter and run the risk of getting stuck there. For this reason, the "Swim-stop" is integrated, which prevents the fish from swimming behind the corner filter. On the other hand, especially young shrimps often crawl through the filter media into the interior of the filter – this can of course be dangerous for the animals. To prevent this, precisely fitting filter media were used.

Attaching the corner filter is very simple: a mounting plate is secured to the window with four suction cups. The corner filter can then be clicked onto the mounting plate. The filter can also be removed from the holder for cleaning. Alternatively, the membrane can be removed underwater.
