Cryptocoryne Undulata, also known as Cryptocoryne Axelrodii, is an elegant species with wavy leaf edges that looks beautiful in the foreground or midground. As with almost all Cryptocoryne species, it easily adapts to various water parameters.

✂️ Care
Do not plant the rhizome too deep in the substrate. When replanting or changing water, 'crypt-melt' can occur — the leaves turn yellow and die off. This is normal and the plant almost always recovers within a few weeks.

The wavy leaf edges add extra texture — beautiful when planted in a group in the foreground or midground, or combined with other Cryptocoryne species.
❓ Frequently asked questions
What is 'crypt-melt' and should I be worried?
Crypt-melt is a natural reaction to change (replanting, different water parameters). The leaves yellow and die off, but the rhizome remains alive and the plant grows back within a few weeks.
My plant arrived yellow or limp — is that normal?
Yes, this is transport stress and almost always temporary. Give the plant 1–2 weeks to acclimatize.
Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
Yes, completely shrimp-friendly.
