This tiger lotus produces leaves that vary from bright green-red with reddish spots to a darker green-brown with red spots.
The plant is a beautiful eye-catcher and contrasts well with both large, compact, small-leaved background plants and smaller front zone plants.

Plant the tuber partly in your (nutrient) soil, try to damage the roots as little as possible and make sure that at least 1/3 of the tuber sticks out. This is to prevent the tuber from rotting.

CO2 in your aquarium will ensure fuller leaf growth and stimulate the growth of shoots with new tubers.
