Rinse the bamboo stick briefly and place it directly vertically or diagonally in the aquarium. The Java moss will slowly continue to grow and requires little maintenance. Trim any excess moss for a tidy appearance.

Combine multiple bamboo sticks for a natural bamboo forest effect. The amount of moss may vary per stick — the moss will spread further after placement in the aquarium.
