Viformo Pleco Tabs is the staple food without colourings and preservatives, made from carefully produced tabs for bottom fish and other catfish.
This nutritious and easily digestible feed contains 4% gammarus as a high-quality source of protein and minerals. Gammarus is also rich in trace elements and carotenoids. The balanced recipe, enriched with vitamin-rich seaweed, promotes healthy development and vitality in the animals.
Because the sinking tabs break down into mouth-sized pieces during rummaging, they guarantee the species-specific diet of fish with smaller mouths (e.g., armored catfish or corydoras). The food particles remain compact and don't cloud the water.
Food suitable for catfish
Catfish are generally rather shy aquarium inhabitants. Some are crepuscular or emerge only at night, searching for food by digging, scraping, and sucking in the substrate. Therefore, they need food that sinks to the bottom and retains its shape for a long time. Most catfish are omnivorous, but there are also species that prefer a predominantly plant-based diet (e.g., armored catfish) or animal-based diet (e.g., armored catfish). sera offers three staple foods for catfish, whose different compositions and structures optimally meet their respective needs.
