Ideal conditions:
This robust shrimp thrives best at a water temperature between 15-25°C and a pH value of 6.5-8.0. An aquarium of at least 80 cm is recommended, with sufficient current and elevated perches such as stones, bogwood, or decorations where the shrimp can unfurl its fans.

Feeding:
Unlike other shrimp, the Fan Shrimp does not eat algae or plant debris. It filters microscopic food particles from the water. Therefore, regularly feed finely ground fish food, spirulina powder, or special filter-feeder food to ensure optimal health.
