Natural aquarium gravel forms the basis for keeping many ornamental fish in the aquarium. It also provides an ideal base for plants and significantly impacts the aquarium's appearance. Aquarium Gravel Anthracite Coarse is a natural dark gravel that perfectly accentuates the colors of fish, invertebrates, and plants. It creates striking contrasts with light-colored stones and wood, but can also be perfectly combined with dark gray stones or black lava.

The gravel is _CO2- resistant, water-neutral, and doesn't affect water parameters—an important prerequisite for a stable aquarium ecosystem. The 1-3 mm grain size allows plants to grow optimally. The spaces between the gravel are perfectly aerated and offer the best conditions for beneficial bacterial colonies to establish themselves. Thanks to the small, rounded pebbles, the gravel is also ideal for keeping foraging species like Corydoras.

Because this gravel is a natural product, it contains no harmful substances. Although it is pre-washed, additional cleaning is recommended before placing it in the aquarium.
