✂️ Care

Plant in nutrient-rich substrate, or attach the plant to hardscape with fishing line or aquarium glue gel — after a few weeks, it will naturally attach itself with adhesive roots. For the most beautiful reddish-brown to purple color, regular fertilization with iron and micronutrients along with CO₂ addition is recommended. Prune old leaves at the base to encourage new, healthy growth.

💡 Planter's tip

Due to its unique leaf structure and epiphytic nature, this plant is perfect for Iwagumi, Nature Aquarium, and Dutch Style layouts. Want to know more about Hygrophila care? Read our extensive Hygrophila care guide.
