Crinum Calamistratum is a distinctive bulbous plant from West Cameroon with dark green, narrow, curly leaves that can grow up to 120 cm long. The plant has a smaller bulb than its counterparts and a lower light requirement — ideal for shaded areas. When blooming, fragrant white flowers emerge above the water. Suitable for larger aquariums and cichlid tanks.

Plant the bulb in a thick nutrient substrate (±8 cm) — the bulb should partially protrude above the substrate to prevent rotting. Preferably place the plant solitarily so it has room to grow. Regularly remove dead leaves. Over time, the plant will form side bulbs — leave them for a fuller plant or remove them for propagation.
