Schismatoglottis Prietoi
You will receive: 1 pot, ready to plant — freshly delivered from the nursery.
✅ Level: Easy — Schismatoglottis Prietoi is a slow grower that is undemanding and requires virtually no maintenance.
Schismatoglottis Prietoi is a compact rhizome plant with bright green, pointed leaves. Its growth habit is very similar to a Cryptocoryne, but the plant remains much more compact — a maximum of 10 cm high. Originating from Southeast Asia, the plant can be planted in the substrate or attached to wood, which makes it extra versatile for the foreground or midground.

✂️ Care
Plant the Schismatoglottis Prietoi in the foreground or midground, or attach it to driftwood with fishing line or aquarium glue. Never bury the rhizome — this prevents rotting. The plant grows slowly and requires little maintenance. CO₂ is not required. Liquid fertilizer such as Sera Florena supports healthy growth.
💡 Planter tip
The compact form and bright green leaves make Schismatoglottis Prietoi an excellent choice for nano aquariums or as an accent next to Anubias or Bucephalandra on wood. Ideal for shrimp tanks due to its slow, steady growth.
