Cichlid Herbivore XL is a staple food made from carefully produced granules without artificial colors or preservatives. It is particularly suitable for larger, primarily herbivorous cichlids and other large fish.

The high percentage of spirulina (10%) and other plant components with their carotenoids, minerals, trace elements and fibres support optimal colouring and healthy digestion and development.

The floating granulate retains its shape for a long time and does not pollute the water.

Natural food for cichlids

Like most fish families, cichlids can be divided into three major groups based on their diet: carnivorous (predominantly meat-eating), herbivorous (predominantly herbivorous), and omnivorous (all-eating). However, even within these individual groups, there are numerous subgroups. To meet these diverse needs, sera offers five different cichlid food types, each tailored to the animals' eating habits and body size.
