For the simple determination of the ammonium/ammonia concentration in fresh and sea water
Ammonium and ammonia come primarily from fish feces.
Depending on the pH value, one can change into the other.
While there are virtually no objections to ammonium, ammonia is toxic to fish.
The sera NH 4 /NH 3 -Test determines the total concentration of both substances (in the enclosed table you can find the actual ammonia content based on the pH value).
In case of acute danger, sera toxivec (freshwater) or sera pond toxivec (pond) provide relief.
Long-term concentration of the substances is actively counteracted by sera bio nitrivec (freshwater), sera marin bio reefclear (marine water) and sera pond bio nitrivec (pond).
Sufficient for approx. 60 measurements.
