Plant in a nutrient-rich substrate. Echinodorus plants appreciate extra nutrients at their roots — use e.g. Sera Florenette or Sera Florena substrate tablets. Regularly prune old leaves for healthy growth.

Ideal for discus aquariums due to its high temperature tolerance. The round leaves add a tropical feel to the mid-ground of the aquarium.
