These lava stones are very suitable for decorating aquariums.
Lava rock does not contain lime and other substances that are released and is therefore ideal for use in the aquarium. They are extremely suitable for aquascaping and creating a natural biotope.
Lava stone is also frequently used for tying up aquarium plants and mosses. For example, lava stone can be ideally used for tying up Java fern, Anubias and Java moss. The roots adhere well to the coarse structure of these stones.
Lava stone is very porous, which is why these stones also provide a light filtration of the water. Good bacteria live on the outside of the stone and contribute to the conversion of waste products.
Shrimp also like to graze on these stones, which allows them to find additional food.
