Cryptocoryne Wendtii is very low-maintenance and adapts to almost any aquarium. With more light, the reddish-brown color becomes more intense. Do not plant the rhizome too deep in the substrate. 'Crypt-melt' may occur when replanting or during water changes — the leaves yellow and die off. This is normal, and the plant almost always recovers within a few weeks.
