Replace the foam set every 4–6 weeks and the carbon cartridge every 4 weeks for optimal filter performance. Always rinse the foam set in aquarium water (never tap water) to preserve beneficial bacteria.

Never replace foam and carbon at the same time — alternate them to maintain biological filtration.

Can I use filter media from other brands?
