Anubias Barteri Glabra is a special Anubias that grows horizontally instead of upwards — becoming longer and longer over wood or stone. Its thick, sturdy roots attach robustly, creating a spectacular piece of wild nature underwater. At 30 cm long, it's a real eye-catcher. This Ecoscape In Vitro version is 100% sterile cultivated.

✂️ Care

Gently rinse the culture gel under lukewarm water. Never plant the rhizome in the substrate — attach it to wood or stone. The plant grows horizontally and will eventually attach itself with its robust roots. Liquid fertilizer such as Sera Florena supports healthy growth.

💡 Planter's tip

The unique horizontal growth habit creates a spectacular, natural effect on large driftwood or stones. Combines beautifully with vertically growing Anubias species for varied planting.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Is this plant suitable for a shrimp tank?
Yes — especially as In Vitro, it's ideal for shrimp tanks, completely free of pest organisms.

Some leaves die after planting — is that normal?
Yes, In Vitro plants are grown emersed (above water) and will adapt. Give the plant 1–2 weeks. The plant will produce new submersed leaves.
